The Antonio D'Alessio Award is established by the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute (ASICI) to acknowledge a remarkable Ph.D. thesis in combustion and related fields. The award recognizes exceptional thesis work, encompassing either combustion fundamentals or applications, particularly within the context of energy transition and sustainable processes, by addressing relevant chemical, physical, and environmental aspects.
The Award is presented annualy during the ASICI Meeting.
The prize commemorates the career, the scientific achievements, and the contributions to the Italian Section community of the late professor Antonio "Ninni" D'Alessio (1943-2008).
